Review: Advanced Probiotic by Number One Nutrition

Image
I received Number One Nutrition's Advanced Probiotic for review.  When I first heard about Probiotics several months ago, it was recommended to me by my Physician because I was taking a strong antibiotic for an illness that I had. The antibiotic I would soon take would kill the good bacteria as well as the bad. So, she recommended that I take a Probiotic especially while on the medication that was being prescribed for me. So, that's when I was introduced to Probiotics. Probiotics are good bacteria that perform a very important role in our digestive, metabolic and immune system. They produce enzymes that break down the food we eat, regulate vitamin intake, and convert sugars to the essential nutrients our bodies need. You take 2 capsule pills daily. A bottle of 60 pills will last you a month. I think once I'm done with this bottle, I'm going to keep on taking these. They're a a better deal than some other Probiotics which can cost a lot more ...

Review: Graze

Image
Graze is a snack company providing 4 perfectly portioned size snacks in each box to their subscribers. When you sign up, you can view all of their snacks and rate them.  I'm going to share with you the ones that I got in my first box! Up first is the 'Scrumptious Blueberry Swirl'. I'm not a fan of yogurt raisins but I think with the cranberries, blueberries and blackcurrants all together just made some good happen in this lil box! Next, was the 'Brownie Flapjack'! Oh. My. Word. Delicious!! It was delightful with the oats and brownie pieces together! I ate them slowly because I knew once these 3 lil guys were gone, that I wouldn't see them for a while! :) Regular granola bars simply don't compare imo. These were soft and quite yummy! My favorite from this box indeed! I put this one as 'LOVE' when rated.   The third snack in my box was the 'Salted Fudge & Peanut Cookie'. Thi...

Review: Treatsie subscription box

Image
So, I decided to give Treatsie a try! It's a monthly artisan sweets subscription box service. They have a card that comes in every box telling you about the goodies in it. I love that they let you know the value of every item in the box. The Cost of Treatsie is $15 a month plus $4.95 shipping. There was a code that I used to get my FIRST box free, and you can too! Just pay for the shipping! Use coupon code FREEBOX22 .  The items in the box were by: Olive & Sinclair, The Salty Road, and Brittle Brothers. This box value is: $26. The salt water taffy by 'The Salty Road' was pretty good! I received mine in the 'Bergamot' flavor. When I looked up the word, 'Bergamot', I discovered that it came from Bergamot oranges! It's has a light taste to it. You can't really taste the orange. It was good though! I devoured the box within a couple of days.  The Cashew Brittle was delicious! I loved it! It was so good. It came in a small package s...

Review: Nibblr

Image
I love trying new snacks! I got my first box from Nibblr.com for free. You can also when you head to http://bit.ly/1kJzzMC and enter code: FBFIRSTBOX. Their boxes are $5.99 and they can deliver weekly, bi-weekly or once a month. Their boxes are pretty cute!   When you sign up, you can view all of their snacks and rate them. Now, when I rated them, for the ones that I thought I would love, I rated 'Love It'! However, I didn't get any of the boxes that I marked as, 'Love It'. So, if you do sign up....just a warning that you may not get those items. Also, if you rate, 'No Thanks'....they won't send that snack to you and that's a good thing.   The snacks that I received are: 'Coco's First Date', 'Salt and Pepper Cashews', 'Caramel Apple' and 'Berry's Hat Trick'. They're portioned sized just right. It even has the Nutrition Facts on the back of each pack which I think is ha...
