Review: For the Faithful

I was so excited to see what my January box from 'For the Faithful' contained! It's a Christian company and as a Christian, I very happy to review this as I've never seen a Christian subscription box out there until now so you could imagine my excitement! When you open the box up, it has Scriptures printed on the inside which is really nice and they designed these boxes so you can flip it inside out to make a nice keepsake!

OK! On to the goodies! Now, I must be honest....lol. I totally did NOT expect a little plush Barney and a Barney DVD that says, 'Be My Valentine'. It's cute and it comes with some Valentine's Day cards in there as well. I gave these items away to a child who could use them! ($9.00 suggested retail price)

Next, I saw a book called, 'Mornings With Jesus 2015', Daily Encouragement for your SOUL 365 Devotions'. It's put out by Guideposts and has 11 women writers. I was looking forward to getting into this devotional book for the new year and since I started Bible Journaling with a Facebook community, I may incorporate this into my journaling. ($16.97 suggested retail price)

In the picture below, is a Full color pamphlet called, 'Names of God'. I LOVE this because it's loaded! It has the names of God, the meaning, application, Bible reference, comments (how to accurately pronounce the names of God), Jesus is:, and personal reflection. It's packed and you can easily put this in your Bible or in your handbag and off you go! ($3.99 suggested retail value)

There is a 'Faith' card also. It's a bonus that has 12 Faith Steps and Scriptures to go along with them. You can easily tear the cards off and put in your wallet. Very handy!

There is a card on top of the Bible cover that states what's in this box. A Bible cover in black was the next thing I saw. It has a zipper opening on the front to put pamphlets or whatever you like in, when you open up the case, to the left, there is a place to put a pen, and a small zipper pouch also. I plan on using this in the near future! ($13.00 suggested retail value)

Next, there was a lovely, fushia, handmade LuxLeather bookmark that says 'Faith' on it. I love this! CAG (Christian Art Gifts) makes these. I have an ipad mini cover made by them that I love. ($4.99 suggested retail value)

Lastly, I have a keychain that says, Matthew 1:21 "You shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." On the other side is a picture of headphones and below, it says, Jesus Saves! I truly love this as well and love using it. It's a great testimony of God's saving grace! ($3.99 suggested retail value)

Thank you so much 'For the Faithful'! You're an amazing company and have such a heart for God. Thank you for serving Him with a willing heart and sharing the best in Christian products throughout the world!

Each box contains over $50 worth of items. You can get a box for as low as $13.99 +s/h. Click here to get a subscription to 'For the Faithful'

Review: Gurin scale

I was excited to try the Gurin scale and see how well it would work. It has a modern feel/look to it with a 4.3" LCD display that has a nice, blue background light to it with a heavy tempered glass top. This scale has measurements of up to 400 lbs. When I received this product, it came with a body tape measure which was nice because I didn't have one. Of course, it would be nice if my waist, hips, thighs and other things would get smaller! :)

When you first step on the scale, the blue light and LCD display comes on and you get a 'reading' pretty quickly. I've tried it out quite a few times and between this one and my old scale, there is a difference in weight. I was at the Doctor's recently and got weighed. When I got home, I weighed myself on the Gurin scale and there was a difference of about 4 lbs. As far as accuracy, it can be inconsistent. Overall, it is a nice, sturdy scale and if you don't mind it being a few lbs off sometimes, you can go here: Amazon  to purchase.

Review: Minzos 4-In-1 TurboPen

I'm always looking for a pen to use around me and now I have a Minzos 4-in-1 turbo pen! It consists of a Stylus, Ball Point Pen, Led Light & Presentation Pointer. The pen writes in black. I enjoy using it. Its been my go-to pen ever since I received it. The stylus is something I have to get used to because for months, with my ipad mini, I've just used my fingers. So, this is something I have to get used to using to help avoid smudges/fingerprints on my device. The led light is great to use if you want to quickly read something at night, perhaps while one is in bed.

The TurboPen weighs in at 1.3 oz. and is just over 5 inches tall with a 3/8 in. diameter. Perfect dimensions to fit snugly in your hand, solid and substantial enough to give you the impression that it's writing all by itself. The ballpoint glides across the paper and the stylus silently slides around the screen. All without cramping your hand or scarring your device screen. This is a great thing to have on hand, Minzos 4 in 1!

Review: Set of 12 Double Wall Fruit Infuser Ice Beverage Water Botttle Tumbler Cups

I've never used a fruit infuser before and wow was I in for a treat! My package of tumblers arrived quickly and each cup had plastic over it and the straws were in plastic as well. Everything was very nice, nothing cracked, nice array of colors. I received 12 of these lovely tumblers and each came with its own sturdy plastic straw. They're all so pretty and my favorite out of all the colors was the purple! Since I had so many of these, I passed many of them out to my co-workers and they joyfully received them!

Here's the pretty purple that I'm holding. The colors have a neon look to them which I thought was pretty nice.

I wanted to put some sliced strawberries in the infuser part of the cup, so I did and the longer that the fruit was in the cup, the more flavor you could taste! You can put in any fruits, herbs or vegetables. If you're a person that has a hard time drinking plain ol' water, this may be what you need to give you that little push to get more water in your body. For me, I love the infuser, but I also have taken the infuser out and simply filled my cup with water.

You can order a set here. It's well worth it if you figure each one of these, if you bought cups like these somewhere, would cost you quite the penny! Great deal and they're wonderful!
