Review: Love and Blessed September box

It's time once again for a Love + Blessed subscription boxLove that the color theme is pink. This month's box is September's and the topic is 'Value'. God took the time to create us, His children we have value. We're special to Him and nothing can make us any less than that. Often, the way that people can treat us, can make us feel unloved but God loves us. People falter but God never does in His love for us.

The sticker says, "Worthy of Love." Very important for every one of us to know this.

The mini poster says, "Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth." We need to be reminded of this because it's so easy to hear someone say something about our worth but we need to know what God's Word says and how He feels about us. That's really what matters.

Here's the Scripture card and the verse is from the book of Luke. "Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very heairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Luke 12:6-7 NIV

{Front and back of Scripture card}

This next item is really adorable! It's two sparrows on keyrings that are placed onto a cute lil birdhouse! I'm placing this onto my wall because I'm always digging around for my keys and having this will help me out. Oh, and these lil sparrows double as a whistles!

That concludes everything in this month's box. Be sure to check out my blog post for October's box which will be on its way soon. If you'd like to get your very own subscription box of Love + Blessed, the boxes are just $10 to send some encouragement along to someone. They have month to month, as well as 3, 6, or 12 month boxes to choose from.

90 Minutes In Heaven Review and Giveaway

I recently had the chance to review the movie edition book, "90 Minutes In Heaven": A True Story of Death and Life by Don Piper. Many of you probably heard about this story. Don Piper is an ordained minister and a popular speaker.

Don was on his way home from a conference when his card was crushed by an inmate driving a semi truck that crossed into his lane. The inmate was fine and so were the other people in the other cars that were also hit by the truck. Don, however, was not. He was pronounced dead upon impact. A minister prayed for him. Piper came alive after 90 minutes. Don has the memory of heaven with him when he came back. He went through over 30+ surgeries and grueling recoveries.

The book is astonishing but part of me was left with just wanting more of what heaven was like. Don didn't meet God, but he was surrounded with loved ones and people praising the Lord. He didn't mention about a pearly gate and gold streets as is mentioned in the Bible. I wish we got more information about how heaven but for those of us that are saved, we'll find out for ourselves one day what heaven really is like and I can't wait!

90 Minutes In Heaven will be in theaters everywhere this Friday, September 11th. Here is the link to the trailer to this movie. Check it out!

Review: Love and Blessed August box

For the month of August, Love + Blessed's subscription box theme is 'Patience'. On the encouragement card, we learn that more patience = more peace!

This is the 'Patience' sticker that says, "Use it before you lose it". Oh my word. How true is that statement?! It's something I need to think of before I get all flustered and when I feel like I'm starting to lose patience.

On our mini poster, it states, "You only need enough LIGHT for the step that you're on." What a nice reminder to not get ahead of ourselves but focus on where we're at this moment and not rush to get to the next step.

Here's our Scripture on patience and it comes from the book of Ephesians. "Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:2 NLT I am reminded that I need to be patient with others and show them the grace and love that Jesus would show.

 {Both sides shown of the card}

We also received a pretty light bulb necklace to remind us that you have to have patience and take one moment, one step at a time. Love it!

As delicate as these little dried flowers are, so we should be towards our patience with others as God Himself is patience with us.

Here is a look at everything that was in this month's box! If you would like to get a month to month, or a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription, you can order here: Love + Blessed. Give the gift of encouragement each month to a friend or family member for just $10. They'll be blessed and in turn, you'll be blessed as well!

Weight Watchers ice cream review

I recently had the chance to review some Weight Watchers ice cream products! Influenster sent me 2 FREE coupons to pick any two that I would like.

 I chose the 'Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream Bars' and the 'Vanilla Round Ice Cream Sandwiches'. They have such a variety of ice creams to choose from but since I love dark chocolate, it was an easy pick when I chose the Raspberry ice cream bars! It was light and delish, no artificial sweeteners and no guilt about eating it! My family members got a hold of these and devoured them!

The vanilla ice cream sandwiches were really good as well! I used to love eating ice cream sandwiches and with a low fat one, that's come out by Weight Watchers, you can eat it and not feel like you shouldn't have it. My family loved these as well!

I recommend these as a healthy option for substituting regular ice cream.

Disclosure: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
