Book Review by Max Lucado: Fearless
I'm a member of Thomas Nelson’s Book Review Blogger program and had the opportunity to review Max Lucado's new book, 'Fearless: Imagine Your Life Without Fear'.
We all battle our fears! LORD knows I have my share. Fear will always be knocking on our door, we just don't invite it in. We can fear less tomorrow than we do today. Max Lucado helps us to face our fears and there are those that are born out of legitimate concerns. Fear itself is not a sin. But it can lead to sin. Fear can keep us from accomplishing God's Will in our lives. Fear may fill our world, but it doesn't have to fill our hearts. With Christ, we don't need to live in constant fear of anyone or anything. There are Scriptures throughout the book for combating our fears. Max Lucado tells some wonderful stories in this book. He's a great Storyteller! I enjoyed this book and will definitely read it again. There is a discussion guide in the back of this book that can be used by individuals or groups. Each lesson consists of three parts for each chapter: Examining Fear, Exposing Fear and Battling Fear.
*I received a copy of this book to read for my agreement to review the book here on my blog. I did not receive any compensation for my review.*
