Book Review: The One Year Bible For Women NLT

'The One Year Bible for women' is a paperback in the New Living Translation. It's one of my favorite translations to read from. The One Year Bible consists of ways we can use this by: one two or even three year plans as well as reading through the Psalms and Proverbs, taking you through them twice during the year. There are highlighted Scriptures to help you focus on a key thought in each day's reading. Also, there are quotes weaved throughout, here and there. I love quotes! One of my fav ones has been a fav of mine for a long time now and it's in here! :) It's says: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." Hellen Keller Now, there aren't maps in this Bible. I was hoping to find some in here but there aren't any. Also, there weren't that many devotionals either, very few if you can find them! I do recommend this Bible for encouragement, inspiration and to help boost

Book review: 'How To Reach Your Full Potential For God'

Image
I am a member of Thomas Nelson’s Book Review Blogger program and had the chance to review a book by Charles Stanley'S new book titled: 'How To Reach Your Full Potential For God' . I've listened to Dr. Charles Stanley preach for quite some time now...13+ years and I never tire of listening to him. I have enjoyed his approach as a Pastor to believers so when I saw that this book was available to request for review, I immediately knew I had to read it. It doesn't matter what one has done in their past. It doesn't dictate what God can do in your life now and in the future. You can see what God had done in the lives of both Moses & Paul. He transformed their lives and they eventually became successful followers of God. God values us beyond anything he has created. We're worth more than anything in His creation. He's placed in us the capacity to know Him, love Him, serve Him, and live forever with Him. We have to look through His eyes, not our own eyes.

I've never tried Soy milk before until Silk came around. This is a great alternative to just plain ol' regular milk! I've used it in my coffee, cereal and just plain drinking it from a glass. Silk is heart healthy and it tastes delicious. Silk has that wholesome feeling of strength that comes from nourishing your body with calcium, omega-3s, protective antioxidants and the goodness of soy. Here's a coupon good for registration ($.75 off): https://silkparegistration.icmodus.com/default.aspx?bhcp=1 . Win it! Silk would love to gift two of my Treasured Reviews Readers some yummy Silk!
